General Eligibility & Number of Selected Students
Q1: What is the difference between Plan A and Plan B, and how can I check which plan a project belongs to?

The primary difference between the 2 plans lies in the financial support coverage:

  • Plan A (GLIP): Includes tuition fee waivers, free on-campus shared room accommodation (excluding electricity charges), and a daily stipend of 240 THB.
  • Plan B: Includes tuition fee waivers only.

To check which plan a specific project belongs to, you can visit our portal at https://www.diald.nu.ac.th/glip/index.php where each project lists its Program Model column. Please note that for the 2026–2027 academic year, all 27 active projects are offered under Plan A: GLIP (Plan B is not offered for this cycle). A total of 15 successful applicants will be selected to participate in the program across all available projects. The Naresuan University Selection Committee will choose the 15 most qualified candidates.

Q2: Who is eligible to apply for the Plan A: GLIP exchange program?

The program is open to undergraduate students and master's degree students from both partner and non-partner universities. Program Structure & Academic Activities
Q4: What types of academic activities are offered?

Each project offers one of three distinct channels:

  • Coursework Enrolment: Minimum of 5 subjects required
  • Internships
  • Research Projects

Note: Combining activities across different projects is not permitted. Selected students are expected to strictly follow the enrolled subjects or the weekly plan established for their designated project.

Q5: Where can applicants apply and find more project details?

All project details, weekly plans, and the online application portal are accessible via our official website:
https://www.diald.nu.ac.th/glip/index.php

Q6: Is full-time physical presence on campus required, or are hybrid/online options available?

All projects require full-time, in-person (offline) attendance on the NU campus for the entire duration (3 to 4 months). The only exception is the "Architectural and Design Internship at Design Center" project, which is offered in a hybrid format.

Q7: Can I apply for projects marked with "Granted" or "Completed" status?

No. Projects with "Granted" or "Completed" status are closed for application. Applicants can only apply for projects marked with Open status that display the "Apply" button.

Q8: Can I choose my preferred exchange duration and timeframe for the program?

Flexible individual timelines are available primarily for Internship and Research Projects, as certain projects offer a broader window of acceptable periods; unlike Coursework Enrolment. You can check the specific designated timeframe for each project on our portal at: https://www.diald.nu.ac.th/glip/index.php

Additionally, all selected participants are required to spend at least one academic semester (approximately 3 to 4 months) onsite at Naresuan University, and the chosen period must fall within the timeframe specified for that project.
