Internship in Social Entrepreneurship Based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy

Eligibility: Exclusively for undergraduate students.
Duration: 1 semester or 3–4 months (depending on the international student's academic calendar) between November 2025 – August 2026.
University Financial Support:
- Tuition fees and other university fees
- On-campus accommodation fees (excluding electricity charges)
- Daily allowance for international students (240 Baht/day)

Student Qualification
1. Academic and Professional Qualifications
1.1 Good academic performance (GPA 3.00 or higher)
1.2 Interest in Thai culture
1.3 Willingness to intern at a Social Enterprise
2. Language and Communication Skills
2.1 Good proficiency in English or Thai language
2.2 Strong cross-cultural communication skills and adaptability
3. Physical Health Requirements
• Good physical health and ability to work in new environments
4. Personal Attributes
• Adaptability and flexibility are required due to the short, intensive nature of the internship.

Activity Details
Overview
This internship in Thailand explores social entrepreneurship through the lens of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. Participants will learn to apply this philosophy in the business sector by engaging in hands-on training across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations at a social enterprise. The program concludes with the presentation of a social business model and a corresponding academic paper.
